About the Role
As a Territory Manager, you will drive new business growth and ensure customer success within your designated territory. You will execute sales strategies, build strong customer relationships, and meet ambitious growth targets while representing Halter on the ground. Your focus will be on expansion, long‑term satisfaction, and daily optimization of value for customers.
What Your Day Could Look Like
- Prospecting new business through cattle auctions, livestock associations, and outbound lead generation.
- Conducting in‑field sales at ranches and presenting the value of Halter technology.
- Expanding existing opportunities and upselling to current customers.
- Managing the sales pipeline and hitting high‑growth targets.
- Providing account management and ensuring ongoing satisfaction.
- Owning the territory, building relationships with local, state, and federal stakeholders.
- Handling onboarding and hand‑off from sales to implementation teams.
- Gathering field learnings and acting on customer feedback.
- Collaborating with support teams to resolve issues quickly.
- Attending industry events to generate leads and strengthen relationships.
- Contributing to the US sales strategy and process improvement.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Results‑driven with strong communication skills.
- Experience in ranching or cattle operations.
- Background in sales and customer success with value‑based conversations.
- Territory management experience, preferably in agriculture or technology.
- Problem‑solving orientation and collaboration ability.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the territory, covering the Southern region of Arkansas.
Bonus Qualifications
- Knowledge of precision agriculture or virtual fencing technologies.
- Experience in customer‑facing ag‑tech roles.
- Experience selling SaaS solutions in a B2B environment.
