About The Role

Territory Manager – responsible for driving new business growth and ensuring customer success within the North Central region of Nebraska. Act as Halter’s on‑ground representative, executing sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, and meeting ambitious growth targets. Proactive, hands‑on, and focused on both expansion and long‑term customer satisfaction.

What Your Day Could Look Like
  • Prospecting New Business: Drive up driveways, attend local cattle auctions, meet with livestock associations, and build a new business pipeline through outbound lead generation.
  • In‑Field Sales: Meet customers on the ranch, discuss how Halter benefits their operations, and build rapport while assisting with on‑farm needs.
  • Expanding Existing Opportunities: Identify opportunities to grow relationships with current customers and increase value over time.
  • Hitting Sales Targets: Manage pipeline effectively and keep focus on closing deals while positioning future opportunities.
  • Customer Account Management: After the sale, maintain relationships, provide support, and ensure ongoing satisfaction.
  • Territory Ownership: Own the entire territory and engage with stakeholders from local, state, and federal agencies.
  • Customer Onboarding: Own the end‑to‑end onboarding experience to ensure a smooth transition from sales to implementation.
  • Field Learnings & Feedback: Gather customer feedback and advocate for needs within the territory.
  • Collaborating with Support Teams: Resolve issues quickly and ensure customers feel fully supported.
  • Attending Industry Events: Generate leads, deepen relationships, and represent Halter at industry events.
  • Contributing to the US Sales Strategy: Input on optimizing the sales process for the US market.

  • Ranching / cattle experience: Understanding of the industry and ability to connect with customers.
  • Sales & Customer Success expertise: History of building new business, negotiating value‑based conversations, and maintaining long‑term relationships.
  • Territory management experience: Managing a large territory with a balanced focus on sales and customer success.
  • Problem solving & collaboration: Resourceful, quick‑thinking, and works well with cross‑functional teams.
  • Willingness to travel: Frequent travel within the territory.
