About the role

As a Territory Manager at Halter, you will drive new business growth and ensure customer success within your designated territory. You will execute sales strategies, build strong customer relationships, and meet ambitious growth targets while acting as Halter’s on‑the‑ground representative. The role requires a proactive, hands‑on approach focusing on expansion and long‑term customer satisfaction. The role covers the Western region of Kentucky; frequent travel is required.

What your day could look like
  • Prospecting new business: drive up driveways, attend local cattle auctions, meet with local livestock associations, build pipeline through outbound lead generation, respond to inbound leads, prioritize admin tasks.
  • In‑field sales: discuss technology on the ranch, help potential customers with field operations, follow up during calving season.
  • Expanding existing opportunities: identify upsell prospects, grow relationships with current customers.
  • Hitting sales targets: manage pipeline, qualify leads, close deals and maintain focus on future prospects.
  • Customer account management: maintain relationships post‑sale, provide support, address challenges, hand off to onboarding and deployment.
  • Territory ownership: take responsibility for the entire region, build relationships with stakeholders from state to federal agencies.
  • Customer onboarding: oversee end‑to‑end experience, coordinate with implementation teams.
  • Field learnings & feedback: gather and advocate for customer needs within the territory.
  • Collaborating with support teams: resolve issues quickly, ensure customers feel fully supported.
  • Attending industry events: represent Halter at events, network, generate leads.
  • Contributing to the US sales strategy: provide input to optimize and evolve the sales process.
