Job summary

BD Interventional is seeking a driven Field Sales professional to promote a broad portfolio of BDPI products across current and new accounts in the assigned territory. You will conduct in-service trainings, plan strategic sales calls, and provide technical product knowledge to clinicians and procurement teams.

The role requires a robust understanding of surgical procedures and anatomy, excellent listening skills, and the ability to navigate contract and pricing discussions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years outside sales experience required.
• Two or more years outside sales experience or equivalency.
• Medical Device Sales experience preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated human relation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Sells the entire product line to current and new accounts.
• Informs customers of new and current pricing, backorders, and company policies.
• Executes comprehensive in-service of products to all concerned individuals.
• Plans sales calls on a continuous basis, managing sales time effectively.
• Develops thorough knowledge of all products and clinical data.
• Informs Regional Manager of significant market changes and competitive activity.
• Achieves prompt, mutually satisfactory solutions to customer complaints.
• Analyzes customer needs and creates solutions.
• Maintains company automobile and company property.
• Completes and processes BDPI reports including but not limited to: sales summary reports, expense reports, monthly product tracking reports, account targeting reports, and complaint reports in accordance with established policies and procedures.
