Job summary

BD is seeking a Field Sales Representative in the USA to represent the BDPI Peripheral Intervention portfolio. You will sell to current and new accounts, inform customers about pricing, backorders, and company policies, and provide product in-service training to clinicians and staff.

You will plan sales calls, develop deep product knowledge and clinical data, monitor market changes, address customer complaints promptly, and maintain company assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years outside sales experience.
• Medical device sales experience preferred.
• Two+ years outside sales experience or equivalency.
• Demonstrated human relation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Sell the entire product line to current and new accounts.
• Inform customers of pricing, backorders and policies.
• Executes comprehensive in-service of products to all concerned individuals.
• Plans sales calls on a continuous basis, managing sales time effectively.
• Develops thorough knowledge of all products and clinical data.
• Informs Regional Manager of significant market changes and competitive activity.
• Achieves prompt, mutually satisfactory solutions to customer complaints.
• Analyzes customer needs and creates solutions.
• Maintains company automobile and company property.
• Completes and processes BDPI reports including but not limited to: sales summary reports, expense reports, monthly product tracking reports, account, targeting reports, and complaint reports in accordance with established policies and procedures.
