Job summary

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or GED with 1 year of sales experience.
• Must reside in the Albany, NY market and be able to travel.
• Ability to lift samples and build displays up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Proficient with MS Windows and basic office software including MS Office.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle for transporting sample boards.

Responsibilities

• Daily sales calls on existing customers with emphasis on hard surface flooring products.
• Present products to retail dealers, designers and end-users and analyze leads.
• Sell and construct display racks weighing 50lbs or more.
• Prospect for new accounts within the territory and monitor market conditions.
• Enter customer interactions and key information into Salesforce.com.
• Educate customers on Shaw Floors, Anderson Tuftex, and Philadelphia Commercial products.
