Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking a Retail Territory Manager for hard and soft surface flooring to grow market share in the assigned territory through strong relationships with flooring dealers, designers and end-users.

This field role emphasizes knowledge of Shaw Floors, Anderson Tuftex, Coretec and Philly Commercial and requires travel within the market. You will conduct daily sales calls, present products, and manage samples and displays while preparing regular sales reports.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or GED with 1 year of sales experience or equivalent.
• Completion of the Shaw sales trainee program can be substituted for experience.
• Must reside in the market.
• Must be able to travel in a vehicle that can carry a number of product sample boards.
• Ability to lift samples and build displays, up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule that may include some evenings.
• Proven experience using a laptop computer and basic Microsoft Windows software including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Daily sales calls on existing customers with emphasis on hard surface flooring products and related items.
• Present products to retail dealers, designers and end-users and analyze leads.
• Sell and construct display racks weighing 50lbs or more.
• Prospect for new accounts and maintain market awareness.
• Prepare and communicate sales reports and market conditions.
• Analyze sales data to set goals and support dealers.
