Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is hiring a Territory Manager for Hard Surface Flooring to grow profitability and market share across the State College, Williamsport, and Altoona, PA region.

You will cultivate strong dealer relationships, manage sample displays, and drive growth through market programs and services. You will track sales in Salesforce.com, travel as needed, and promote Shaw Floors, Anderson Tuftex, and Philly Commercial residential products.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or GED and 1 year of sales experience or equivalent.
• Ability to travel in a vehicle that can carry product sample boards (van or approved SUV).
• Ability to lift samples and build displays up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Flexible schedule, may include some evenings.
• Proficient with a laptop and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily sales calls on existing customers focusing on hard surface flooring products and related items.
• Present products to retailers, designers, and end-users and analyze leads from corporate reports.
• Sell and install display racks weighing 50 lbs or more regularly.
• Prospect for new accounts while understanding market dynamics in the territory.
• Prepare business transaction reports showing sales volume and potential.
• Provide periodic sales reports on actuals, goals and market conditions.
• Analyze sales statistics from territory reports to set goals and support dealers.
• Manage travel and entertainment expenditures and sample budgets within budget.
• Enter all customer interactions into Salesforce.com.
• Promote all residential products including Shaw Floors, Anderson Tuftex, and Philly Commercial.
