Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Territory Manager to grow sales and nurture customer relationships across a defined market. You will lead team-based selling, deliver compelling presentations, and work with marketing, supply chain, and service teams to ensure seamless product delivery.

The role requires driving to customer sites, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication skills; prior foodservice or hospitality experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent; valid driver’s license required.
• 1+ year of sales experience preferred.
• Foodservice/hospitality experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation abilities.
• Ability to build internal and external relationships and cold call to develop new business.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Salesforce a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and nurture the customer relationship in a team-based selling model.
• Drive sales through presentations and tailored approaches to individual customers.
• Collaborate with Specialists, marketing, supply chain and customer service for seamless delivery.
• Develop new business using market intelligence databases and leads.
• Manage deliveries to routing schedules; troubleshoot order issues.
• Stay informed about market conditions, product trends, and competitor activity.
• Travel within the territory for site visits and follow-ups to ensure satisfaction.
