Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a Connector Territory Manager to grow sales with existing and new accounts across industrial and distribution channels in the assigned territory. You will execute sales plans, secure distributor agreements, and maintain distribution of hydraulic hose, tubing, fittings, and related fluid connector products.

The role requires building strong customer relationships, technical product knowledge, and the ability to travel 50-70% to meet OEMs and distributors.

Qualifications

• College degree (technical discipline may be required) with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in direct sales and/or distributor sales of industrial technical products.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written.
• PC skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains strong client relationships with OEM customers and may or may not have distributor accounts while meeting position objectives.
• Ensures Parker products are specified to maintain and increase revenue by prioritizing opportunities on an account-by-account basis for optimum sales and margin results.
• Keeps current with internal and external training and development; develops knowledge of products and applications.
• Obtains specifications and approvals at engineering firms, major accounts and/or distributors to increase sales opportunities and margins.
• Provides product training at distributor and customer levels; motivates and provides sales direction to distributors.

Education

Bachelor's degree in a technical field

3+ years in direct or distributor sales of industrial products

Effective written and oral communication

PC skills

Ability to travel overnight 50-70%
