Job summary

VITAS Healthcare is seeking a results-driven Representative to educate physicians and healthcare leaders about hospice care. You will guide referral sources through prognostication and the Medicare hospice benefit while building long-term partnerships across hospitals and physician offices.

You will operate from a local VITAS office in your territory, engaging with care facilities and family-focused teams to ensure timely, compassionate patient care and smooth referrals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years sales experience or in healthcare services preferred.
• Experience in competitive team environments with accountability and teamwork.
• Evidence of achieving sales goals within the market or exceeding corporate goals.

Responsibilities

• Educate physicians, healthcare leaders and professionals about hospice care value proposition.
• Champion the Medicare hospice benefit and its appropriateness for patients.
• Work with clinical partners to ensure patients receive the right care at the right time.
• Grow, learn, and drive purposeful service through territory development.
