Job summary

VITAS Healthcare is seeking a dynamic Sales Representative to educate physicians and healthcare leaders about hospice care. You will build trusted relationships, guide referrals, and champion the Medicare hospice benefit to ensure patients receive appropriate care.

Based in Houston, you’ll travel regionally, collaborate with clinical partners, and grow with a mission-driven team that values compassion, growth, and outcomes for families facing serious illness.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years sales experience or in healthcare services preferred.
• Participated in competitive team environment with accountability and teamwork.
• Able to demonstrate critical thinking and problem solving.
• Past military service a plus.
• Experience with volunteer organization a plus.
• Hospice experience preferred but not required.
• Evidence of achieving sales goals within the market or exceeding goals.
• Strong customer service, sense of urgency and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with physician, healthcare leaders and professionals.
• Guide referral sources through prognostication, hospice value proposition, and family conversations.
• Champion the Medicare hospice benefit.
• Collaborate with clinical partners to ensure right care at the right time.
