Job summary

VITAS Healthcare is seeking a results-driven Sales Representative to educate physicians and healthcare leaders about hospice care across the territory. You’ll build trusted partnerships, uncover needs, and guide referral sources through prognosis and the value proposition of hospice, while championing Medicare hospice benefits.

You’ll work with clinical partners to ensure patients receive appropriate care at the right time.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years sales experience or in healthcare services preferred.
• Experience in competitive team environments with accountability and teamwork.
• Able to demonstrate critical thinking and solutions.
• Past military service a plus.
• Hospice experience preferred but not required.
• Evidence of achieving sales goals within the market and/or demonstrates track record of exceeding goals.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with physician, healthcare leaders & professionals
• Guide referral sources through understanding the prognostication, the value proposition of hospice & how to have effective conversations for families facing serious illness
• Champion the benefits of the Medicare hospice benefit
• Work alongside clinical partners to ensure patients receive the right care at the right time
