Job summary

VITAS Healthcare is seeking a confident Representative to educate physicians and healthcare leaders on the value of hospice care. You will guide referral sources through prognostication and the Medicare hospice benefit while working with clinical partners to ensure timely, appropriate care for patients.

Based in a local VITAS office, you’ll cover your territory, build long-term partnerships, and advance a mission-driven career focused on compassionate end-of-life care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years sales experience or in healthcare services preferred.
• Participation in competitive team environments with accountability and teamwork.
• Ability to demonstrate critical thinking and create solutions.
• Past military service a plus.
• Experience with volunteer organization a plus.
• Hospice experience preferred but not required.
• Evidence of achieving sales goals within the market or a track record of exceeding corporate goals.
• Strong customer service, sense of urgency and problem solving skills.
• Time Management and Organizational Skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge and successful application of a need satisfaction selling process.
• Ability to manage a territory, conduct sales calls and generate sales by building long term business partnerships.
• Strong interpersonal skills within all levels of an organization.
