Job summary

Sazerac Company is seeking a Market Development Representative (MDR) for the Off Premise channel. You will partner with grocery, convenience, and liquor retailers to drive volume and distribution of our brands across the territory.

You’ll craft growth solutions, build brands through consumer insights, and lead distributors with in-store execution, aiming to hit volume goals and promotional targets while collaborating with the internal team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Business or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant professional experience or a sales internship/part-time sales role.
• A valid driver's license.
• Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours (nights/weekends).
• Willingness to travel and reside in or near the territory.

Responsibilities

• Crafting Solutions for Growth: implement and manage innovative solutions to boost business for assigned accounts.
• Brand Building: use trends to educate customers and grow sales across a diverse portfolio.
• Distribution: lead distributors with in-store selling, marketing and account execution.
• Volume Objectives: help achieve core brand volume goals.
• Strategic Programs: execute programs for distribution, merchandising, and promotions.
• Rapport Building & Collaboration: build mutually valuable relationships with customers and wholesalers.
