Job summary

Sazerac Company is seeking a Market Development Representative (MDR) for the Off Premise channel in a defined territory. You will partner with grocery, convenience, and liquor stores to drive volume, distribution, and brand visibility across Sazerac's diverse portfolio.

You will craft growth strategies, educate customers using market trends, and coordinate with distributors to execute in-store programs. This role requires travel, evenings/weekends, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Business or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant professional experience, or for new graduates, a sales internship or full/part-time sales role (preferably in consumer goods)
• A valid driver's license
• Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours (nights/weekends)
• Willingness to travel
• Must be able to obtain a relevant solicitor’s permit in any state
• Candidate must reside in or near the territory
• Must be able to personally pay or charge ordinary and necessary business expenses that will be timely reimbursed

Responsibilities

• Join us as the key partner for off-premise locations to achieve volume and distribution sales goals for our brands.
• Crafting solutions to boost business for assigned accounts and grow market share.
• Lead distributors with in-store selling, marketing, and account execution.
• Help achieve volume objectives for core brands in our portfolio.
• Implement programs that deliver distribution, merchandising, display, and retail promotional goals.
• Develop rapport with customers by understanding their needs and requirements.
