Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking a Territory Manager for Hard Surface Flooring to sustain and grow profitability in the Northern Virginia market.

You will build strong relationships with flooring dealers, designers and end-users, and drive growth through major market programs and sample placement. The role requires sales experience, the ability to travel, lift up to 50 pounds, and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or GED with 1 year of sales experience.
• Ability to travel in a vehicle capable of carrying product samples.
• Ability to lift samples and displays up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Flexible schedule including some evenings.

Responsibilities

• Daily sales calls on existing customers with emphasis on hard surface flooring products.
• Present products to retail dealers, designers and end-users and analyze leads.
• Sell and construct display racks weighing 50 lbs or more.
• Prospect for new accounts while monitoring geographic market activity.
• Prepare reports of business transactions and sales and communicate goals.
• Analyze sales statistics using reports to inform dealer promotions.
• Monitor travel and entertainment expenditures and sample budgets.
• Enter customer interactions and key information into Salesforce.com.
• Promote all residential Shaw products and educate customers.
