Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. seeks a Residential Territory Manager to drive growth in hard surface flooring across assigned markets and manage relationships with dealers and designers.

You will lead outreach, promote Shaw Floors and related brands, and develop new accounts through strategic territory planning. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of sales experience, can travel by van or SUV, and are comfortable lifting product samples up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with 1 year sales experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Completion of Shaw sales trainee program may substitute for experience
• Must reside in the market and be able to travel by vehicle
• Must be able to lift samples and displays up to 50 pounds regularly

Responsibilities

• Daily sales calls on existing customers with emphasis on hard surface flooring products, samples, displays, adhesive and related products
• Present products to retail dealers, designers and end-users and analyze leads from corporate reports
• Sell and construct display racks weighing 50lbs or more regularly
• Prospect for viable new accounts while understanding the geographic area
• Prepare reports of business transactions and sales and communicate periodic sales results and goals
