Job summary

phData, a remote-first data and AI consultancy with a strong partner ecosystem, is seeking a Territory Director to scale our business. You’ll manage strategic partnerships, acquire new customers, and lead territory development in analytics, data engineering, and AI services.

You will drive multi-million-dollar deals, work across teams, and travel up to 50% to nurture key accounts and opportunities in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of B2B sales experience in technology services. Cloud/data/AI is a plus.
• Experience co-selling with technology partners. Snowflake/Azure/AWS experience is a plus.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Ability to craft proposals, SOWs, negotiate contracts, deliverables and pricing.
• Enthusiasm for a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and be inclusive in the sales process.
• Natural curiosity about customers and their business.
• Proven track record of sourcing, negotiating and closing $250K+ deals.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Exceed quarterly/annual sales targets across practice areas (Data Eng, Managed Services, ML, Analytics).
• Co-Sell with Anthropic, Snowflake, AWS, and other partners to bring AI/data engineering services to enterprises.
• Drive and execute lead-generation activities to grow market share in your region.
• Partner with MDs, Solutions Eng, Marketing to scope and present solutions.
• Take accountability for the phData brand in your territory and accounts.
• Navigate complex org structures to identify stakeholders and budget owners.
• Accurately forecast, update deals, and manage sales pipeline.
• Complete and embrace training for continuous improvement and new initiatives.
