Job summary

MSI is seeking a Sales Representative to drive growth for Tile product lines within a retailer and dealer network across an assigned territory in the United States. The role emphasizes building relationships, product training, and strategic pricing.

The associate-level, full-time position offers a salary with potential commission, requires a valid driver's license, and may involve extensive travel and trade-show participation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Previous sales experience is a plus.
• Industry experience beneficial but not required.
• Strong math skills for calculating discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, area, and volume.
• Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and in teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM platforms preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with retailers and dealers to drive sales and promote flooring and countertop products.
• Provide product knowledge and training to store personnel.
• Understand products, market competition, and strategies to position products effectively.
• Manage displays, samples, and selling tools for customer availability.
• Consult with dealers on pricing, advertising, promotions, and ROI.
• Quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales contracts.
• Estimate delivery dates based on schedules.
• Analyze sales reports to identify opportunities with customers.
• Utilize catalogs and vendor collateral to expand territory reach.
• Research customer needs and market trends to understand demand.
• Resolve customer claims related to deliveries, returns, and credits.
• Attend trade shows as required.
• Willing to travel up to 90%, with local and overnight trips.
