Job summary

Dinges Fire Company is seeking proactive sales professionals to manage assigned accounts and territories. You will build relationships with Fire and EMT decision-makers, schedule activities, and present our products and services to clients, while driving commission-based earnings based on gross profit.

Most salespersons operate as 1099 contractors, choosing full- or part-time activity. A strong knowledge base in fire equipment and customer service is advantageous for success.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of fire service equipment and tools.
• Knowledge of basic computer applications.
• Knowledge of customer service principles.
• Knowledge of basic business principles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sales action plans and strategies
• Schedule sales activity
• Make sales calls to new and existing customers
• Develop and present company products and services to current and potential clients
• Develop sales proposals and respond to sales inquiries
• Ensure customer service satisfaction and maintain client relationships
• Follow up on sales activity and report to management
• Monitor and report on sales activities
• Participate in sales events and trainings
