Job summary

Dinges Fire Company is seeking a results-driven salesperson to plan and execute sales activities across assigned accounts in Nebraska. You will build relationships with Fire/EMT decision-makers and drive product and service delivery satisfaction.

All salespersons operate as 1099 independent contractors with commission-based pay (approximately 40% gross profit per sale). Opportunities exist for full-time or strong secondary-income roles, backed by the company’s focus on helping fire departments.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of fire service equipment and tools.
• Knowledge of basic computer applications.
• Knowledge of customer service principles.
• Knowledge of basic business principles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sales action plans and strategies.
• Schedule sales activity.
• Make sales calls to new and existing customers.
• Develop and present company products and services to clients.
• Negotiate and close deals with customers.
• Develop sales proposals.
• Respond to sales inquiries by phone, email or in person.
• Ensure customer service satisfaction and strong client relationships.
• Follow up on sales activity.
• Monitor and report on sales activities for management.
• Participate in sales events and training.
