Dinges Fire Company in Missouri seeks dynamic sales reps to manage designated fire department accounts. This commission-based role pays 40% of gross profit per sale and operates as an independent contractor.

Most reps are firefighters, which helps build trust with Fire and EMS decision-makers. You plan sales strategies, schedule calls, present products, and nurture client relationships to grow your territory.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales for fire service equipment is preferred.
• Knowledge of customer service principles and basic business concepts.

Responsibilities

• prepare sales action plans and strategies
• schedule sales activity
• make sales calls to new and existing customers
• develop and make presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients
• negotiate with clients
• develop sales proposals
• respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person
• ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships
• follow up on sales activity
• monitor and report on sales activities and follow up for management
• participate in sales events and training
