Job summary

Dinges Fire Company seeks aggressive, customer-focused sales professionals to grow accounts in the Missouri territory. Most members are firefighters by trade and leverage product knowledge to build trust with Fire and EMT decision-makers.

This role is 1099 commission-based, with earnings tied to gross profit on each sale; flexible full-time or strong second income, ample territory support, and a focus on helping departments get safer and more efficient.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of fire service equipment and basic tools is required.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications is expected.
• Strong customer service principles and business sense are necessary.

Responsibilities

• prepare sales action plans and strategies
• schedule sales activity
• make sales calls to new and existing customers
• develop and make presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients
• negotiate with clients
• develop sales proposals
• respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person
• ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships
• follow up on sales activity
• monitor and report on sales activities and follow up for management
• participate in sales events and training
