Job summary

Dinges Fire Company is seeking a driven sales professional to plan and execute activities for designated accounts within Missouri. You will build relationships with Fire and EMT decision-makers and drive commissions by delivering products and services that improve safety and efficiency on the job.

Most positions are commission-based, with ownership of your territory. Prior firefighting or EMS exposure is highly valued to leverage product knowledge in conversations and demonstrations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of fire service equipment and tools is advantageous.
• Knowledge of basic computer applications.
• Knowledge of customer service principles.
• Knowledge of basic business principles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sales action plans and strategies.
• Schedule sales activity.
• Make sales calls to new and existing customers.
• Develop and present company products and services to clients.
• Negotiate with clients.
• Develop sales proposals.
• Respond to inquiries by phone, email or in person.
• Ensure customer service satisfaction and strong client relationships.
• Follow up on sales activity.
• Monitor and report on sales activities for management.
• Participate in sales events and training.
