Job summary

Dinges Fire Company is seeking a self-motivated sales professional to plan and carry out all sales activities on assigned accounts or areas. You will develop relationships with Fire and EMT decision-makers in the designated territory and drive customer satisfaction with quality products and service.

All salespersons are 1099 independent contractors. Pay is commission-based with unlimited potential, earning approximately 40% of the gross profit on each sale.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of fire service equipment and tools is required.
• Knowledge of basic computer applications is required.
• Knowledge of customer service principles is required.
• Knowledge of basic business principles is required.

Responsibilities

• prepare sales action plans and strategies
• schedule sales activity
• make sales calls to new and existing customers
• develop and make presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients
• negotiating with clients
• develop sales proposals
• respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person
• ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships
• follow up on sales activity
• monitor and report on sales activities and follow up for management
• participate in sales events and training
