Job summary

Dinges Fire Company in Algona, IA seeks a results-driven salesperson to plan and execute all sales activities on assigned accounts. You will build relationships with Fire and EMT decision-makers and deliver presentations to current and potential clients.

All salespeople are 1099 independent contractors with commissions based on gross profit (approximately 40%). Roles can be full-time or part-time; many reps are also firefighters, leveraging knowledge of products to grow their territory.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of fire service equipment and tools.
• Familiarity with basic computer applications.
• Understanding of customer service principles.

Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out all sales activities on assigned accounts or areas.
• Develop relationships with Fire and EMT decision-makers in the territory.
• Prepare sales action plans and strategies.
• Schedule sales activity and make calls to customers.
• Develop and present company products and services to clients.
• Develop sales proposals and respond to inquiries by phone or email.
• Ensure customer service satisfaction and strong client relationships.
• Follow up on sales activity and report to management.
• Participate in sales events and training.
• Own your territory and drive commissions with unlimited potential.
