Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Field Access Specialist in Knoxville, TN to manage defined accounts within the cardiac therapeutic area. You will execute territory plans in collaboration with call centers, HUBs, sales, and market access teams to optimize patient access.

The role requires strong payer knowledge, ability to educate offices on access processes, and a track record in managed care or biologic access programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years in public or private third-party access or pharmaceutical managed care, clinical support, or sales.
• Minimum 6 years of biologic coordinator experience is required.
• Experience with specialty/biologic self-injectable or physician-administered products.

Responsibilities

• Act as an extension of the call center/HUB to provide live one-on-one coverage support.
• Serve as payer expert for defined geography and communicate payer changes promptly.
• Educate offices on access processes, formulary coverage, prior authorizations, and patient services.
• Review patient-specific reimbursement information to resolve access or coverage issues.
