Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Field Access Specialist to manage defined accounts in a specific geographic region within the cardiac therapeutic area. You will execute the territory strategic plan with internal and external stakeholders, including call center services (HUB), sales and market access to optimize patient access and payer alignment.

The role requires educating offices on access processes, copay and patient service programs, and resolving coverage challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3+ years in public/private third-party access arena or pharmaceutical industry in managed care, clinical support, and/or sales.
• Experience with specialty/biologic self-injectable or physician administered products (buy and bill/medical benefit).
• Ability to educate offices on access processes including patient service programs and delivering educational presentations.
• Ability to manage ambiguity and problem solve.

Responsibilities

• Act as extension of the call center/HUB and provide live one-on-one coverage support.
• Serve as payer expert for the defined geography and communicate payer changes to stakeholders.
• Educate offices on access processes including formulary coverage and prior authorization.
• Review patient-specific information in reimbursement cases to resolve access issues.
