Job summary

Syneos Health seeks a Field Access Specialist to manage defined accounts in Knoxville, TN. You will execute the regional strategic plan by partnering with call centers, HUBs, sales, and market access to navigate reimbursement processes and patient support programs.

The role requires educating offices on access processes, formulary criteria, MAR/PA, and patient services, while handling reimbursement cases and maintaining territory knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or a minimum three years of experience in public or private third-party access arena or pharmaceutical industry in managed care, clinical support, and/or sales or a minimum of 6 years biologic coordinator experience
• Experience with specialty/biologic self-injectable or physician administered products
• Ability to educate offices on access processes and Patient Service programs

Responsibilities

• Act as an extension of the call center and/or HUB and provide live one-on-one coverage support
• Serve as payer expert for defined geography and communicate payer changes to key stakeholders
• Offer office education during the access process including formulary coverage and prior authorization
• Review patient-specific information in reimbursement cases to resolve access or coverage issues
• Demonstrate ability to educate HCPs on patient service programs and deliver presentations
