Job summary

Syneos Health, Inc. is seeking a Field Access Specialist in Dallas, TX to manage defined accounts within the cardiac therapeutic area and execute territory strategies in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including HUB and market access teams.

The role emphasizes payer expertise, patient access education, and resolving coverage challenges across offices while adapting to evolving reimbursement landscapes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or a minimum three years of public/private third-party access or pharmaceutical industry experience in managed care, clinical support, or sales.
• Minimum of 6 years biologic coordinator experience is acceptable.
• Experience with specialty/biologic self-injectable or physician-administered (buy and bill) products.
• Ability to educate offices on access processes and patient service programs (copay, nurse education, patient assistance, etc.).
• Must live within territory or within territory boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Act as an extension of the call center/HUB and provide live one-on-one coverage support.
• Serve as payer expert for defined geography and communicate payer changes to stakeholders promptly.
• Educate offices on access processes, formularies, forms, prior authorization, appeals, and claims resolution.
• Review patient-specific reimbursement cases to resolve access issues or coverage challenges.
• Demonstrate ability to manage ambiguity and problem solve.
