Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Field Access Specialist to manage defined accounts within a specified geographic region in the cardiac therapeutic area. You will execute a collaborative territory plan with internal and external stakeholders, including HUB, sales, and market access teams.

The role requires educating offices on access processes and patient service programs, and managing payer changes. You will work within territory boundaries and contribute to better reimbursement outcomes for patients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years in public or private third-party access arena or pharmaceutical industry in managed care, clinical support, and/or sales
• Experience with specialty/biologic self-injectable or physician administered products
• Ability to educate offices on access processes and Patient Service programs
• Must live within territory or within territory boundaries

Responsibilities

• Act as an extension of the call center and provide live one-on-one coverage support
• Serve as payer expert and communicate payer changes to key stakeholders
• Educate offices on access processes and patient service programs
• Review patient-specific information in reimbursement cases and resolve access issues
