Job summary

Syneos Health in Nashville seeks a Field Access Specialist to manage defined accounts within the cardiac therapeutic area. You will execute the territory strategic plan in partnership with call centers, HUB, sales, and market access to improve patient access and reimbursement outcomes.

The role requires experience in payer processes, patient service programs, and the ability to educate offices while handling ambiguity.

Qualifications

• Must have public/private third-party access experience or 6 years biologic coordinator experience.
• Experience with specialty/biologic self-injectable or physician-administered products.
• Ability to educate offices on patient service programs and deliver educational presentations.
• Ability to manage ambiguity and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Act as an extension of the call center and HUB and provide live one-on-one coverage support
• Serve as payer expert for defined geography and communicate payer changes to key stakeholders in a timely manner
• Offer office education during the access process including formulary coverage, benefits investigation, prior authorization, appeals, and claims resolution
• Review patient-specific information in reimbursement cases where the office has requested assistance in resolving access issues
