Job summary

Herc Rentals in Texas City is seeking a Territory Sales Representative to identify and grow revenue across assigned accounts and on-site customer locations. You will develop networks, plan sales strategies, and exceed quotas by renting and selling equipment.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Marketing or Business Administration and 3–5 years outside sales in industrial/heavy equipment, with strong communication, multitasking, and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Promotions, Advertising Sales or Business Administration preferred.
• 3–5 years outside sales experience within the industrial market and/or heavy equipment industry preferred.
• Strong communication and networking skills.

Responsibilities

• Daily territory management and revenue growth through visits to customer job sites/offices.
• Develop a networking list of potential clients and contact them by phone and internet.
• Develop, plan and organize sales strategies to achieve goals.
• Maintain and exceed quotas by renting and selling equipment consistently.
• Identify customer needs and react accordingly while understanding market conditions and competitors' pricing.
• Penetrate customers at the strategic level to diversify the customer base across accounts.
• Support all team members.
