Job summary

Morton Buildings, Inc. is seeking a Sales Consultant to grow market share in designated Indiana territories and cultivate new and longstanding customers.

The role splits roughly 70% presale activities (prospecting, lead generation, client presentations) and 30% postsale project management to ensure a smooth build from start to finish. Applicants should have 2 years sales or 5 years construction management experience and a related degree.

Qualifications

• 2 years sales or account management experience preferred or 5 years construction management experience.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, construction, or project management preferred.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and maintain a sales pipeline in Dynamics CRM.
• Minimal overnight travel required; reside within 30 miles of territory.

Responsibilities

• Lead prospecting, lead generation, customer presentations, and solution development in presale.
• Guide customers through early buying stages and coordinate with internal teams.
• Post-sale project management to ensure a seamless customer experience through completion.
• Develop and maintain a sales funnel to sell at or above budgets.
• Coordinate all individuals involved in the building project and manage subcontractors.
