Job summary

Morton Buildings, Inc. seeks a results-driven Sales Consultant to expand market share in the Tulsa, OK, and adjacent markets.

You’ll manage pre‑sale activities—prospecting, lead generation, customer presentations, and solution development—while coordinating post‑sale project management to ensure a seamless build. Success requires 2 years of sales or 5 years of construction management experience, strong communication, CRM discipline, and the ability to travel minimally.

Qualifications

• 2 years sales or account management experience preferred OR 5 years construction management experience.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, construction, or project management preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
• Minimal overnight travel beyond initial training.
• Ability to maintain a robust sales funnel at or above budgets.
• Aptitude to grow market share and be available during construction hours.
• Coordinate all individuals involved in building projects with internal teams.
• Maintain customer confidentiality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong organizational skills.
• Must reside within 30 miles of assigned territory within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Approximately 70% of the role focuses on pre‑sale: prospecting, lead generation, customer presentations, solution development, and guiding customers through early buying stages.
• Remaining 30% centers on post‑sale project management to ensure a seamless customer experience and successful build.
• Coordinate with MBI personnel and subcontractors; manage permitting requirements when needed.
• Maintain an effective sales pipeline and deliver results within the assigned territory.
