Job summary

Morton Buildings, Inc. is seeking a motivated Sales Consultant to expand market share across a multi-state territory. You will cultivate new customers, manage relationships with existing clients, and drive pre‑sale activities from lead generation to solution development.

The role blends pre‑sale prospecting and post‑sale project coordination, with training and defined pay plans. A company car, laptop, and cell phone support field success, and advancement opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• 2 years sales or account management experience preferred OR 5 years of construction management experience
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, construction, or project management preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
• Minimal overnight travel required beyond initial training and onboarding period
• Must reside within 30 miles of assigned territory within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Prospect, generate leads, and present solutions to customers
• Guide customers through the early stages of the buying process
• Coordinate post‑sale project management with internal teams
• Maintain a sales pipeline and territory plan
