Job summary

Morton Buildings, Inc. seeks a self-driven Sales Consultant to grow market share within an assigned territory and build lasting customer relationships. The role blends presale prospecting, lead generation and presentations with postsale project coordination to ensure a smooth build.

We offer structured training, a company car, laptop and cell phone, and a competitive starting pay range of $65,000 to $85,000 annually with commissions and annual raises.

Qualifications

• 2 years sales or account management experience preferred or 5 years construction management experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to maintain an organized sales pipeline in Dynamics CRM
• Must reside within 30 miles of assigned territory within 30 days of hire
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, construction, or project management preferred
• Ability to develop and maintain a sales funnel and achieve sales budgets

Responsibilities

• Presale: prospecting, lead generation, customer presentations and solution development
• Guide customers through early buying process and coordinate with internal teams
• Coordinate all build details from presale to completion and support the build through to completion
