Job summary

Morton Buildings, Inc. is seeking a full-time Sales Consultant to grow market share within a defined territory, cultivate new customers, and build relationships with long-standing clients.

The role combines pre-sale activities with post-sale project coordination to ensure a seamless customer experience from initial contact through project completion. Qualifications

• 2 years sales or account management experience preferred OR 5 years of construction management experience.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, construction, or project management preferred.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and capable of maintaining an accurate and organized sales pipeline within Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
• Minimal overnight travel required beyond initial training and onboarding period.
• Adept at growing market share and managing a sales funnel to meet or exceed budgets.
• Must reside within 30 miles of assigned territory within 30 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• 70% of the role focuses on pre-sale activities: prospecting, lead generation, customer presentations, solution development and guiding customers through early buying stages.
• 30% focuses on post-sale project management: coordinating details, communicating with internal teams, and supporting build through completion.
