Job summary

Doggett John Deere seeks an experienced sales professional to develop long-term partnerships with customers in an assigned territory and promote Doggett John Deere products and services in a professional manner.

You will build relationships with construction, industrial, and oil & gas clients, manage a diverse book of business, and coordinate deliveries and equipment demonstrations while maintaining strong customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in sales/marketing/business preferred or 3–4 years of related sales experience.
• Solid understanding of local market conditions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Daily consistent use of a professional CRM.

Responsibilities

• Develop a book of business with construction, industrial and oil and gas customers to rent construction equipment.
• Plan daily scheduling and calls to customer sites and offices.
• Maintain budgeted metrics on rental revenue, utilization, new accounts, active accounts and pricing.
• Perform needs analysis and develop plans to meet customers' needs within rental department parameters.
• Penetrate market segments within the territory to maintain a diverse book of business.
• Use company systems/tools to document, track, record, and follow up on all activity in a timely, accurate manner.
• Develop awareness of competition and market trends.
• Coordinate and conduct field demonstrations and operate machinery at customer sites.
