Doggett John Deere in Houston, TX is seeking an Outside Sales Professional to develop long-term partnerships and expand a book of business across construction, industrial, and oil & gas sectors. You will rent construction equipment and promote all aspects of Doggett John Deere professionally.

The role requires daily planning, customer site visits, and strong communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools is essential, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service

Qualifications

• College degree in sales, marketing or business preferred or 3-4 years of related sales experience.
• Solid understanding of local market conditions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Daily consistent use of a professional CRM.

Responsabilités

• Develop a book of business with construction, industrial and oil and gas customers to rent construction equipment.
• Plan daily routes, calls to customer sites and offices.
• Maintain budgeted metrics on rental revenue, utilization, and pricing.
• Perform needs analysis and develop plans to meet customer needs within rental parameters.
• Penetrate market segments within territory to diversify the book of business.
• Document activity in company systems and track follow-ups.
• Develop awareness of competition and industry trends.
• Coordinate field demonstrations and operate machinery at customer sites.
• Collaborate with Sales Manager and Sales Support for follow-up and expediting rentals.
• Ensure timely follow-up and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate delivery, pickup of equipment as needed.
• Adhere to safety rules and company policies.
• Represent Doggett John Deere professionally to customers and community.
• Pursue available training to advance knowledge and skills.
• Engage in company communications and team meetings.
• Maintain positive relationships with peers and management.
