Job summary

Doggett Equipment Services Group is seeking an Outside Sales Professional in Texas to develop long-term partnerships with customers and promote all aspects of Doggett John Deere in a professional manner. You will build a diverse book of business across construction, industrial, and oil & gas segments, while coordinating deliveries and staying aligned with sales leadership.

The role emphasizes field-based customer interaction, daily planning, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction, revenue

Qualifications

• College degree in sales, marketing or business preferred or 3-4 years of related sales experience.
• Solid understanding of local market conditions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Daily consistent use of a professional CRM.

Responsibilities

• Develop a book of business with construction, industrial and oil and gas customers to rent construction equipment.
• Daily planning/scheduling and daily calls to various customer job sites and offices.
• Maintain budgeted metrics on rental revenue, utilization, new accounts, active accounts and pricing.
• Ability to perform needs analysis and develop plan to meet customers’ needs within parameters of the rental department.
• Coordinate and/or communicate with customers and applicable departments to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate pickup and delivery of equipment as needed.
