Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. is seeking an Outside Sales professional to drive sales from lead generation through close in an assigned territory. The role focuses on building materials knowledge and delivering customer value from the Hesperia, CA area.

Responsibilities include planning by account, managing leads, and executing on up-sell and cross-sell opportunities while maintaining pricing and records. The position emphasizes teamwork, independence, and meeting revenue goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years sales experience preferred.
• Knowledge of building materials and construction industry strongly preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Knowledge of Excel preferred.
• Ability to self-manage and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare action plans by accounts and product line.
• Search and follow through on sales leads and new customers.
• Identify and pursue up-sell and cross-sell opportunities.
• Establish rapport and build long-term customer relationships.
• Provide product knowledge to assist customer buying decisions.
• Provide timely pricing and maintain records of sales activity.
