Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales professional to provide product knowledge on building materials and related items.

The role involves taking orders at the sales counter and over the phone, building strong customer relationships, and using the company system to process orders. You will work with Outside Sales Reps and Sales Managers to determine strategic approaches, overcome objections, quote prices, and prepare sales orders and reports.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 4 year degree preferred.
• Ability to self-manage, take initiative and be comfortable meeting the public.
• Must be a team player with attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Proven problem solving, multitasking, and clear communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Take orders at the sales counter and over the phone.
• Build relationships with customers to drive sales.
• Enter orders accurately in the company system.
• Complete sales orders and tender cash sales.
• Develop product knowledge to assist customers with purchases.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales Reps and Sales Managers to determine sales approaches.
• Overcome objections and quote prices; discuss terms and prepare orders/reports.
