Sazerac Company is seeking a Market Development Representative to act as the key partner for off-premise locations and drive sales across our diverse spirits portfolio. You will connect with consumers, educate customers on trends, and lead distributors to implement in-store selling, marketing, and account execution.

The role emphasizes growth via strategic programs, data-driven decisions, and strong collaboration with wholesalers and the internal team.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year in professional field sales in alcohol-beverage or CPG.
• Results Driven: Proven volume achievements and ability to meet distribution and promo goals.
• Mobility: Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the territory.
• Schedule: Flexibility for non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Location: Live in or near the territory.
• Expenses: Able to cover ordinary business expenses with reimbursement.
• Compliance: Able to obtain solicitor’s permit in any state.

Responsibilities

• Craft innovative solutions to boost business for assigned accounts and grow market share.
• Build and educate customers using consumer/category trends to drive sales and brand growth.
• Lead distributors with in-store selling, marketing, and account execution.
• Help achieve volume objectives for core brands across the portfolio.
• Implement programs that deliver distribution, merchandising, and retail promos.
• Develop mutually valuable rapport with customers by understanding their needs.
• Serve as the communication lead between customers, wholesalers, and internal teams.
• Monitor KPIs to ensure goals are met.
