Job summary

Thompson-Safety is seeking an Account Executive to develop new business within an assigned territory. You will build the territory to maximize company growth, leveraging cold calls and leads, and documenting activity in CRM.

You will maintain contact with prospects via in-person and phone-based outreach, scheduling appointments, and supporting marketing initiatives. A four-year degree and strong sales skills are required.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree and/or success as a Service Representative.
• Familiar with codes, products attributes, and procedures within the safety field.
• Has a general awareness of business, financials, sales, and safety principles.
• Strong ability to utilize technology to increase new business activity.
• Strong ability to prospect in-person and over the phone, build rapport with prospects and close business.

Responsibilities

• Develops new business opportunities through cold calls and leads.
• Uses CRM to document activity and track results.
• Maintains contact with prospects through in-person sales calls and phone blocks.
• Develops new appointments through territory prospecting and scheduled phone blocks to meet activity and pipeline goals.
• Assists in marketing programs and initiatives as needed.
• Observes and mirrors best practices from other Account Executives.
• Consistently generates new business within the assigned territory.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
