Job summary

Thompson Safety is seeking an Account Executive to drive new business and lead generation within an assigned territory. You will build your territory to maximize company growth and contribute to a robust sales pipeline.

The role requires a four-year college degree or equivalent sales background, proficiency with CRM tools, and strong prospecting and closing abilities. A valid driver's license and ability to travel are essential, with a compensation mix including base salary and uncapped

Qualifications

Four-year college degree or proven success in a similar role.
Familiar with codes, products attributes, and procedures within the safety field.
Understanding of sales, business, and safety principles.
Proficient in using technology to drive new business activity.
Able to prospect in-person and by phone, build rapport, and close deals.
Professional certification may be required in some areas.
Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and ability to pass a drug and background check.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing new business opportunities through cold calls and leads.
Document activity and track results using CRM technology.
Maintain contact with prospects through in-person sales calls and phone blocks.
Develop new appointments through territory prospecting and scheduled phone sessions.
Support marketing programs and initiatives as needed.
Observe and replicate best practices from other Account Executives.
Consistently establish new business within assigned territory.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
