Job summary

Toast is seeking a Territory Sales Account Executive to grow our restaurant footprint in the Morristown/Northern NJ area. This field sales role is based from a home office; you must live locally or be willing to relocate.

You will prospect, demo, and close restaurants, coordinate with cross‑functional teams, and use Salesforce to manage activities. A minimum of 1 year in sales and strong communication skills are required, plus reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a sourcing or closing sales role, restaurant operations, or related field.
• Reliable transportation (mileage reimbursed).
• Strong communication, organizational and presentation skills with the ability to sell and negotiate at all levels.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial and team environment.
• Self-motivated, creative, and flexible.
• General technical proficiency with software.

Responsibilities

• Generate list of prospective restaurants and manage the entire sales cycle from initial call to close.
• Conduct demos and develop a solution that best meets the prospect’s needs.
• Partner with teams across the business to ensure expectations set during the sales process are met in delivery.
• Leverage Salesforce (our CRM) to manage all sales activities.
• Understand the competitive landscape and determine how to best position Toast in the market.
