Job summary

Kimball Midwest is seeking an Account Representative in a Hybrid role to enter a two-year training program designed to build sales experience, product knowledge, and leadership into a future sales representative position.

The role covers the designated territory with travel as needed, a compensation plan in the first year of $42,400–$47,400 with salary and bonus structure, plus mileage and cell phone reimbursement. The company is an Equal Opportunity Employer and offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to travel within territory to visit customers and attend meetings.
• Comfort with prospecting and building a book of business.
• Strong planning and prioritization skills to grow territory.

Responsibilities

• Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with customers in a designated territory to understand their business needs and identify areas of opportunity.
• Cold Calling & Prospecting: Effectively cold call on potential customers in the territory to grow a book of business.
• Planning & Priority Setting: Efficiently plans week in advance to prioritize customer stops and territory growth.
• Product Knowledge: Demonstrate our products to potential customers to show the value and quality of our products.
• Achieve Sales Goals: Meet or exceed sales quotas by following our company's proven sales programs and processes learned in our training workshops.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate records of daily sales activities by inputting information into our systems.
