Job summary

The California State University, Northridge invites applications for an Audience Service Worker-Ticket Office (Pool). Under supervision, the Customer Service Worker assists patrons with ticket sales and access, handles cash and credit card transactions, and prints tickets for events at The Soraya, Plaza del Sol, and The Experimental Theatre.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ticket office operations, including sales procedures and cash handling.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills for in-person, phone, and outreach interactions.
• Ability to use ticketing systems and office tools to manage patron data and records.

Responsibilities

• Assist patrons at the Ticket Office window and over a multi-line phone system in ticket sales for events at The Soraya and allied venues.
• Perform outbound calls to Soraya members and single ticket purchasers.
• Help set up directional signage to guide patrons to Will Call and the Ticket Office.
• Research performing artists and share information with patrons purchasing tickets.
• Maintain and update patron information in the ticketing system.
